How to Avoid Paying Interest on Purchases

Your due date is at least 23 days after the close of each billing cycle. We will not charge you interest on purchases if you pay your entire balance by the due date each month.

About Your Credit Report and Your Credit Performance: You agree that Barclays has the right to obtain a current credit report in connection with our review of your application and, subsequently, in connection with a requested charge to any account with us, the renewal of your account, or a change in your credit line; and that we have the right to report to others our credit experience with you. Upon your request, we will tell you the name and address of each consumer reporting agency from which we obtained a consumer report about you. After your account is opened, we will periodically review your credit performance. If you do not maintain your credit performance, we may change your account terms.

How the Variable APRs on Your Account will be Determined: The APRs on your account will be determined each billing cycle by adding a margin to the Prime Rate (which will be the highest rate published in the Money Rates column of The Wall Street Journal on the last business day of each month). See your Cardmember Agreement for more detail. The APRs noted above are current as of 01/30/2014 using a Prime Rate of 3.25%.

What this means to you: When you apply for an account, we will ask for your name, street address, date of birth, social security number, and other information that will allow us to identify you. Your Telephone Number: By providing us with a telephone number(s), at the time you apply or anytime thereafter, you authorize Barclays and its affiliates, agents and independent contractors, to contact you regarding your account at such number using any means of communication, including, but not limited to calls placed to your cell, mobile or other phone using an automated dialing service, pre-recorded messages or text messages. Standard text messaging and/or calling charges may apply.

Balance Transfers. Here's How it Works:
To request a balance transfer please enter the 15/16 digit account number from the MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card account that you want us to process a balance transfer to. If the total amount you request exceeds the assigned credit line on your new account, we may either decline the request or send a partial payment to your creditor(s).  The amount of available credit on your new account will be reduced by the amount transferred and the related balance transfer fees.  We reserve the right to decline to process any requested balance transfer.  We will not process a request to transfer a balance from any other account you may have with us. Balance transfers incur interest from the transaction date. You should not transfer the amount of any disputed purchase or other charge. If you do, you may lose your dispute rights.  Upon approval of your application we will process the requested balance transfer payment to the account(s) which you have requested on the 10th day after we’ve mailed you your card; during this 10 day time period you may cancel your balance transfer by contacting us at the number on the back of your card.

A balance transfer may take up to 4 weeks to post to your other credit card accounts. Continue to pay each creditor until the balance transfer appears on the other account as a credit. If you would like to complete a balance transfer from another account that is not a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card, please call the phone number on the back of your new credit card once you are approved. Balance transfers are subject to availability. We may deny balance transfer requests at any time and for any reason.

Paying Interest on Balance Transfers and Cash Advances:
We charge interest on balance transfers and cash advances beginning on the transaction date. We charge interest on purchases unless you pay your entire balance, which includes all purchases, cash advances and balance transfers by the payment due date each and every month. Your entire balance includes any balances you transfer pursuant to this offer. This means that we will charge you interest on purchases if you do not pay any balance transfer in full by the first payment due date. Please see your Cardmember Agreement for details on how interest accrues.

Cash Equivalent Purchases: The purchase of money orders, travelers' checks, foreign currency, lottery tickets, gambling chips, wire transfers and other similar transactions are treated as cash advances. Please see the Cardmember Agreement that will accompany your credit card upon account opening for more details.

About the US Airways Dividend Miles Program:

The following terms and conditions apply only to your participation in the US Airways Dividend Miles reward program associated with the $89 Annual Fee Dividend Miles MasterCard.  Please read this information carefully.  Upon account approval, your acceptance of your US Airways Dividend Miles MasterCard Account (“Account”) will signify that you agree to all of the following provisions.

The Account is issued by Barclays Bank Delaware (“Barclays”).  Barclays is solely responsible for all credit and eligibility standards and determination of Account issuance.  Dividend Miles® is a frequent flyer program offered by US Airways (the “Program”) and is not a product or program of Barclays. US Airways is solely responsible for establishing the terms and conditions of your participation and mileage accumulation in the Program. All Dividend Miles terms and conditions as published at www.usairways.com apply (the “Program Rules”). US Airways may change the Program Rules at any time with or without prior notice.

Program Membership:  When you applied for your Account you were asked whether the Primary Cardmember was a Program member.  If you answered “no” or did not give us your Program number, Barclays and US Airways enrolled you in the Program.  Only one Program membership, the Primary Cardmember’s, will be established regardless of whether your Account is an individual account or an account with an authorized user. Only the Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive “Mileage Credit” and other Program card benefits outlined below subject to the Program Rules.

Earning Miles:  Primary Cardmembers earn Miles based on Net Purchases.  There is no limit on the number of Net Purchase Miles that may be earned.  Miles earned and outstanding do not expire provided your Account remains open and in good standing.

Eligibility:  To participate in the Program, your Account must remain in good standing which means your Account must remain open with active charging privileges, you must maintain your creditworthiness, you must pay your Annual Fee, and you must use your Account for at least one transaction every six (6) months that is not later rescinded or returned. Good standing also means you are not in default under the Cardmember Agreement.  Failure to pay the Annual Fee or to maintain the account in good standing may result in Account closure and forfeiture of these benefits.  In addition, if your payment is late in any billing cycle, this may result in the forfeiture of Mileage Credit earned in that billing cycle.

Mileage Credit

Dividend Miles on Net Purchases: Cardmembers earn Dividend Miles based on new Net Purchases (as defined below) as follows:

(i). Two (2) miles for every one dollar ($1.00) of Net Purchases made with the Account, rounded up or down to the nearest dollar, on tickets, goods and services purchased directly from US Airways or US Airways Vacations® (“US Airways Purchases”). US Airways tickets purchased through other channels or that are a component of any other cruise or tour package do not earn US Airways mileage purchase bonuses.

(ii). One (1) mile for every one dollar ($1.00) of Net Purchases made with the Account everywhere else.

Effective on September 10, 2010, to continue to participate in the rewards program, your account must remain open and in good standing, you must maintain your creditworthiness and you must use your card for at least one (1) purchase transaction every six (6) months (or have some type of account balance every six months).  Failure to meet these requirements may result in account closure and forfeiture of all outstanding miles earned.  In addition, if your payment is late in a particular billing cycle, this may result in the forfeiture of miles earned in that billing cycle.  If your miles are forfeited for any reason, we will not reinstate these miles to your account.

Bonus Balance Transfer Dividend Miles: Cardmembers will be awarded one (1) mile for every one dollar ($1.00) in balances that are transferred to the new Account, in the first 90 days after the new Account is opened, up to a maximum of ten thousand (10,000) miles. There is a fee for Balance Transfers.  Balance Transfer Checks do not qualify as balance transfers and are not eligible for bonus miles.

Bonus Dividend Miles: Forty thousand (40,000) bonus miles will be awarded in the first billing cycle in which you have made a purchase or balance transfer (that is not later returned or rescinded).  There is a fee for Balance Transfers.

Anniversary Bonus Miles: Beginning with the first anniversary of Account opening and every anniversary thereafter, Cardmembers will be awarded 10,000 Anniversary Miles. Anniversary miles will be reflected on the billing statement following payment of your Annual Fee, if applicable.

Net Purchases:  Mileage Credit is based on Net Purchases. “Net Purchases” means retail purchases less credits, returns and adjustments” that post to the account each periodic billing cycle.  When a purchase or transaction is not a whole dollar amount, any fraction equal to or greater than $.50 will be rounded up to the nearest whole dollar and any fraction equal to or less than $0.49 will be rounded down to the nearest whole dollar.  The following transactions are not considered Net Purchases and do not accrue Dividend Miles: Account fees, interest, convenience checks, balance transfers, cash advances, cash equivalents as defined in your Cardmember Agreement, and credit insurance premiums.  Barclays reserves the right to exclude from Net Purchases unauthorized Purchases and Purchases which are added to your Account after you are past due or over your credit line.

Tracking Mileage Credit:   Each month your Account statement will reflect the Primary Cardmember’s accrued Mileage Credit for that periodic billing cycle. There will be a delay between the date that a Purchase is made, the date Barclays reports the Net Purchases to US Airways, and the date that US Airways acts upon the information, and for this and other reasons, Barclays records and US Airways records may differ. Mileage Credit is not received by the Primary Cardmember until awarded by US Airways, and in the event of any discrepancy between the records of the Primary Cardmember’s accrued Mileage Credits, the records of US Airways will control.

About Mileage Credit:  On the closing date of each billing cycle that your Account remains open and in good standing, Barclays will report to US Airways the Mileage Credit based on aforementioned Mileage Credit Accrual rules. Mileage Credit will be awarded to the Primary Cardmember, regardless of who made the purchase.  If your Account is not open and/or current on the date a billing cycle closes, we will report no Mileage Credit to US Airways for that cycle. If credits for returned Purchases exceed new Purchases during a billing cycle, Barclays will ask US Airways to reduce the Primary Cardmember’s Mileage Credit accordingly. Barclays may ask US Airways to withdraw Mileage Credit previously awarded if your Account is more than sixty (60) days past due, or if the Mileage Credit was awarded on Purchases not authorized by you. Barclays is not responsible to award Mileage Credit under the Program, to arrange or provide for any services related to travel or the use of mileage credit, for any delay, failure, or refusal by US Airways to award or redeem mileage credit, or for any decision by US Airways to revoke or cancel mileage or membership in the Program.

Additional Benefits with your $89 Annual Fee US Airways Dividend Miles MasterCard:

Welcome/Anniversary Kits:

he Welcome and Anniversary kits that will be mailed to you contain some of the program benefits such as the Companion Certificate, $75 Club Membership Discount Voucher and US Airways Club® pass).  Please see below for details on each.  As a new cardmember, you will receive your Welcome Kit within 2 to 4 weeks from the date your account is opened.   In the future, your Anniversary kit will be mailed to you within 2 to 4 weeks of your account-opening anniversary as long as the annual fee has been paid.  Please note, the Companion Certificate, US Airways Club Day pass and $75 Discount voucher are not active until you have used your Account for at least one purchase (that has not been returned or rescinded) or balance transfer, and the annual fee has been paid, if applicable.

ompanion Certificate:  For the $89 Annual Fee MasterCard, the Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive one companion certificate valid for two $99 companion tickets each year. The Companion Certificate is valid for travel within 12 months and tickets must be purchased within 9 months from the issue date.  The companion certificate is valid for round-trip coach class travel within and between the contiguous U.S. and Canada when the Primary Cardmember purchases a qualifying ticket (minimum fare purchase of $250 required). Additional taxes, fees and charges including (PFCs), Federal Excise Taxes, Canadian VAT/GST and customs/immigration charges as well as the September 11 Security Fee apply to all tickets purchased and are not included in the base fare.  Other companion certificates restrictions apply including advance purchase requirements and black-out dates and will be provided on the actual certificate.

US Airways Club® day pass & Club Membership Discount:  The Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive one complimentary US Airways Club pass, valid for a one-time visit at any domestic US Airways-operated Club, and one $75 Discount voucher towards an annual Club Membership each year. The $75 Discount voucher toward a new annual Club membership cannot be combined with any other discounts. The Club day pass and $75 Discount voucher expire one year from your account-opening anniversary date.

,000 Miles Award Discount: The Primary Cardmember only will receive a 5,000 mile discount off of each Eligible Award Ticket provided all “Dividend Miles Select Eligibility Criteria” below are met. For example, if 25,000 Dividend Miles are required to redeem an award ticket, then the Primary Cardmember will need to redeem only 20,000 miles.

Dividend Miles Select Eligibility Criteria: The Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive the 5,000 Mile Award Discount when each of the following conditions have been met: (a) the applicable Account remains open and in good standing (b) you have made at least one purchase or balance transfer in the last twelve months; (c) you are redeeming miles from the Dividend Miles account linked to your Account; (d) you are using the Primary Cardmember’s card to purchase the ticket directly from US Airways; and (e) your award ticket(s) are booked for either a roundtrip or open-jaw itinerary solely on flight segments operated by US Airways and/or US Airways Express (“Eligible Award Tickets”). In the event any portion of the award itinerary is not operated by US Airways/US Airways Express, or is not a valid roundtrip or open-jaw routing, these benefits will not apply and will not be pro rated. If you close your Account or change from an Account with an annual fee to an Account with no-annual fee, you are no longer eligible to receive this benefit.

Preferred Miles and Award Processing Fee Waiver: When a Cardmember spends at least $25,000 or greater in new Net Purchases (which are not later credited back or rescinded) (“Purchase Requirement”) within each calendar year, a total of 10,000 of those miles will be converted from base miles to Preferred miles 4 to 8 weeks after the Purchase Requirement has been met.  You can only qualify for maximum of 10,000 Preferred Miles per year through this credit card program. Beginning 10 business days after the Purchase Requirement has been met and for 12 months thereafter, the US Airways Award Processing Fee will be waived provided the customer meets the Dividend Miles Select Eligibility Criteria above. The Award Processing Fee Waiver applies only to the Processing Fees listed below and is not a waiver of (i) any government or regulatory agency taxes, fees and surcharges or (ii) any other US Airways fees including quick ticketing fees, paper ticketing fees, change/redeposit fees and fees for tickets that are not booked on-line. The Award Processing Fees waived are: $25 per domestic ticket; $35 per Mexico or Caribbean ticket; $50 per Hawaii or international ticket.

First Class Check-in and Zone 2 Boarding:  All Primary Cardmembers are invited to check-in at the US Airways Preferred or First Class counter when checking-in for their flight. The Primary Cardmember only is invited to board the aircraft early as part of Zone 2 provided their Dividend Miles number is part of their reservation. First Class Check-in and Zone 2 Boarding are only available on US Airways operated and marketed flights.

Dining Program: Your Account is automatically enrolled upon account-opening in the Dividend Miles Dining program and a welcome kit will be sent to you explaining the benefits. Dividend Miles Dining Miles will post to your Dividend Miles e-statement.

Other Restrictions:

New Account Bonuses and Awards
:  From time to time, Barclays may offer bonuses or awards of mileage credit or other premiums (for example, First Use Miles, First Use Certificates, and Promotional Companion Tickets) to new US Airways MasterCard Cardmembers. Unless otherwise stated in the offer, these bonuses and /or awards are intended for persons who are not, and have not previously been, US Airways MasterCard Cardmembers. You understand and agree that, unless otherwise stated, if this is your first US Airways MasterCard Account, once you become a Cardmember you are no longer eligible to receive these bonuses and/or awards for any new US Airways MasterCard account you open after this Account is opened. If this is not your first US Airways MasterCard Account, you may not be eligible for these bonuses and/or awards. If you receive a bonus or award for which you are not eligible, Barclays may direct US Airways to revoke the bonus or award, or reduce your mileage credit by the amount of the award, or charge your account for the fair value of the bonus or award, at our option.

Responsibility of the Parties/Information Sharing:  US Airways is not a party to the Cardmember Agreement between Barclays and the Cardmember, does not participate in any extension of credit, has no authority regarding the Account and is not responsible for any goods or services offered by Barclays. Barclays is not responsible for any goods or services offered by US Airways. You authorize Barclays to share information about your account with US Airways and the Dividend Miles Dining Program to the extent needed to administer the Program. You also agree that Barclays may share Account information as set forth in Barclays Bank Delaware Privacy Policy.

By participating in the Program and accepting and using Mileage Credits earned via the Program, you and any other beneficiary of the Program release, discharge and hold harmless Barclays, US Airways and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, administrators, employees, officers, directors, successors and assignees from all claims, damages or liability including, but not limited to, physical injury or death arising out of participation in the Program.

We are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions in this document.
